PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Continuing Legal Education – have given 20 presentations to attorneys on wage and hour topics -- the King County Bar Association, Washington State Trial Lawyers, Washington State Bar Association, Cornell University and the AFL-CIO Attorney Convention.

Author of the Wage and Hour Chapter of the WSAJ/WSTLA Washington State Employment Law Deskbook (all 3 editions; 3rd edition co-authored with Mark Cote).

Union side member on the Washington State Employment Law Advisory Committee to the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries 2007-2009, advising on wage and hour law regulations.

Active in KCBA Newcomers’ Project, pro bono representation on immigrant worker wage claims, from founding in 2001 through 2009 (project volunteer and mentor).
